Mazel tov! I remember my own Bar Mitzvah fondly…and I’m sure you want your Mitzvah kid to remember theirs fondly, too.
In fact, that’s why I started doing Mitzvah photography in the first place…to capture the essence of your child at this point in their life, not to mention that special day.
Mitzvah photography is different from any other event, and over the past 15 years, I’ve learned a thing or two about it. No matter whether you choose to work with me or to work with another photographer, keep a few things in mind:
- Make the photography experience fun and comfortable for the Mitzvah kid.
- To do that, be sure to hire a photographer you and (especially) your child likes.
- When you look at the portfolio of work, can you picture your family in the photos?
